2 cloves garlic
2 cups white beans*
½ cup water
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp anchovy paste
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

*Use 2 cups soaked and cooked white beans or 1 (540 mL) can of white beans, drained and rinsed.
